Spatial Filter Issues

چکیده
Beamlet measurements show that cone pinholes outperform other types tested with regard to both closure and back reflections. A *I50 prad stainless steel cone remained open for a 15.5 kJ, 10: 1 contrast shaped pulse with Ifi7.5 mad of SSD divergence, which more than meets the requirements for a NIF ignition pulse. Measurements also showed the maximum tolerable pressures in the NIF spatial filters to be a few milliTorr, leading to recommendations of 0.1 and 0.6 mTorr for the NIF transport and cavity spatial filters, respectively.

Evaluation of spatial filters to create smoothed maps of health data.
Spatial filters have been used as an easy and intuitive way to create smoothed disease maps. Birth weight data from New York State for 1994 and 1995 are used to compare the traditional filter type of fixed geographical size with a filter size of constant or nearly constant population size. The latter are more appropriate for mapping disease in geographic areas with widely varying population den...
متن کاملTheory of a Spatial Filter for Removing Ocular Artifacts With Preservation of EEG
Technical Note presented as a poster at the EMSE Workshop at Princeton, 7-8 Sep 2001 This technical note supplements the workshop demonstration by providing (a) pointers to issues in the literature regarding the correction of EEG (or MEG) recordings for blink and eye movement artifacts, and (b) a theoretical description of a spatial filter for removing ocular artifacts, with special attention t...
متن کاملMaximum Discrimination Spatial Filter for EEG-Based Brain-Computer Interface Systems
Over the past decades, people have begun to explore a new communication channel directly between human brain and computers. The brain-computer interface (BCI) has the potential to enable severely disable people to drive computers directly by brain activity rather than depend on nerves and muscles. Research into BCI systems mainly involved recording of electroencephalographic (EEG) signals using...
متن کاملSpectral-spatial classification of hyperspectral images by combining hierarchical and marker-based Minimum Spanning Forest algorithms
Many researches have demonstrated that the spatial information can play an important role in the classification of hyperspectral imagery. This study proposes a modified spectral–spatial classification approach for improving the spectral–spatial classification of hyperspectral images. In the proposed method ten spatial/texture features, using mean, standard deviation, contrast, homogeneity, corr...
متن کاملMobile Robot Navigation Error Handling Using an Extended Kalman Filter
Obviously navigation is one of the most complicated issues in mobile robots. Intelligent algorithms are often used for error handling in robot navigation. This Paper deals with the problem of Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) error handling by using Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) as an Expert Algorithms. Our focus is put on the field of mobile robot navigation in the 2D environments. The main chall...
متن کاملFilter selection for 99mTc-Sestamibi myocardial perfusion SPECT imaging [Persian]
Myocardial perfusion SPECT imaging with Tc99m-sestamibi is the most accurate non-invasive means of detecting coronary artery disease and assessing the severity of perfusion abnormalities in the patients with coronary stenosis. Though simple and straight forward the results produced by the technique is very much affected by the details being used. One of the main problems with the test, wh...
